Senior Portrait Tips

Check out our senior pictures gallery to see some of the work we’ve done with graduating high schoolers! If you have any questions about our services, you can give us a call or fill out our recommendation form.

Q: HOW MUCH TIME DO WE HAVE FOR MY SENIOR PORTRAIT?

We try to allow for two hours together. This includes taking breaks, reviewing the images, selecting everyone’s favorites, and changing wardrobe.

Q: CAN I HAVE BOTH IN THE STUDIO AND OUTSIDE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FOR MY PHOTO SHOOT?

We have a special senior package that allows for this option. You will be able to enjoy the comfort of being inside the studio with air conditioning in the summer or heating in the fall, and then go right outside to capture a totally different look and feel.

Q: CAN I BRING MY PETS ALONG?

Yes, we are a pet-friendly studio. Your pets are always welcome.

Q: CAN I INCLUDE MY FAMILY IN SOME OF THE PHOTO SHOOT?

It is common for families to be a part of the senior portrait. The focus and attention is always on the senior, but it is easy to include all the family members as well. We typically see our clients at times when different life events are taking place. We have learned that clients who miss having us create a family portrait at the time their senior is graduating will circle back to us years later when they realize she/he is going to be married soon and everyone wishes to hold on to fond memories of the immediate family members all being together.

Q: HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL? WILL YOU COME TO MY HOME FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT?

Yes, we can have your photo shoot at your home, a park or favorite retreat.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I WEAR OR BRING TO THE PHOTO SHOOT?

You can let us know of any hobbies or activities you are involved in. The type of look you want will lead us to answers about the style of wardrobe for you to bring to your photo shoot. We also will want to know how your parents want to remember this time in your life as well.

Q: CAN I WEAR MORE THAN ONE OUTFIT?

Of course! However, you will want to limit your changes to a reasonable amount to ensure that your time is spent more in the studio being photographed than in the dressing room changing.
