Cat Portraits FAQs

How are you able to photograph cats in the studio?
We provide a calm, peaceful atmosphere to make cats feel comfortable. We have special cat soundtracks that we play in the studio and tailor our approach to the traits of each individual animal. You may be surprised to learn that we also have a special “cat walk” studio that works very well for capturing the purr-fect feline portrait.
What if my cat doesn't like car rides?
If your cat is more comfortable at home, no problem! We can come to you. Most of our creative team have cats as part of their family and love being around them. We understand the patience needed to photograph our feline friends, so there is no rush in the photoshoot.
What happens if you're not able to get a good portrait?
The creative team who will be working with you have amazing patience. Their creative vision allows them to capture stunning images on every photoshoot. What’s nice about working with us is that during the photoshoot we take pauses to review the images created, and we love to hear your feedback. If there’s anything that you want to change or have questions about, we simply go in a new direction that works for your family.
How many cats can I bring?
You are welcome to bring them all! There is not additional charge. We always ask if the cats get along if you are looking to capture them together. If they do, we have great success in creating cat portraits with groups. One of our clients brought along her 8 cats with their cat tree and that was fun!

Having a photoshoot at the destination of your choice provides a personalized experience with your dogs and family members. We can travel to your favorite park, your vacation home, or even the top of a mountain! Our spacious studio also offers a variety of options from a signature grey backdrop, red carpet runway, elegant curved white wall, daylight studio, and upscale dressing room to make our clients feel like a star.

Our outdoor studio provides antique pick-up trucks, vintage motorcycles and beautiful nature areas including ivy, a willow tree and many other options.

Can you photograph my cats at home, or do we have to come to your studio?

We are happy to do either! While our studio has unique features, such as our special “cat walk” studio, we can also bring our photography session to your home if your cat is more comfortable there.

Is there an extra charge for bringing multiple cats?

No. We do not have an additional charge for multiple cats. We believe in celebrating your entire feline family, no matter the size.

How do you work with cats during the photoshoot?

We tailor our approach to each cat’s personality. We use special “cat soundtracks” to help them relax and take frequent pauses to review images with you, ensuring you love the results.
