The ideal candidate for the Gallery Assistant position is a creative individual who is energized and enthusiastic. A working knowledge of Photoshop is required. The ability to retouch, color match and produce clipping paths is essential. Excellent attention to detail, good visual skills and a trained eye for color is an asset. The main responsibilities would include retouching portraits, cleaning blemished skin, fixing wardrobe issues and extending the background of a photo.
Additional assets include the candidate being flexible with their time and what they are willing to do depending on the needs of the day. The most essential asset is assisting in all aspects of the studio process with an exceptional rigorous work ethic.
Candidate should be accustomed to the intensity of the studio and small business environments, unshrinking under deadline pressure.
